Over a period of 7 nights and 8 days, you’ll experience two of Africa’s most incredible wildlife destinations

• 1 night in Entebbe,
• 2 nights in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
• 4 nights in the Masai Mara Olderkesi Conservancy

Activities included

On our Luxury Gorillas and Masai Mara safari, you’ll journey to the magical Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for the highlight of any Uganda safari holiday: gorilla trekking. Mountain gorillas are only found in two locations in Africa, one of which is Bwindi, where 50% of their number are found. A day of gorilla trekking involves walking through pristine rainforest, followed by an hour spent in the company of a gorilla family. You’ll be amazed at how they interact; their social hierarchy, and how they tend their young. This hour will be one to live on in the memory forever.

You’ll then continue your journey to the world-famous Masai Mara: Kenya’s ultimate Big Five safari destination. Here you’ll stay in a private conservancy bordering the main reserve, for a more private safari experience. Over a period of four days, you’ll marvel at Africa’s most iconic species, as well as being able to enjoy walking safaris, cultural visits, and much more besides

Pricing and considerations

This itinerary can be enjoyed all year round, but for the best time to visit Uganda for easiest trekking conditions is June to October, and January to February. The Masai Mara offers excellent game viewing all year round, with the peak being from July to October, when the Great Migration crosses from Tanzania to Kenya.

Whilst we recommend this safari for people of all ages, the minimum age for gorilla trekking is 15 years. If parents are traveling with younger children, alternative activities and/or childcare can be arranged in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
