Mara Bush Houses
Exclusive-use private houses are few and far between in the Masai Mara, and these three gems by Asilia are some of the very best.
Airy, well-designed and with everything a travelling family on safari could need. Acacia and Mara House are close together, sharing grounds, and a swimming pool. They are to be found in the Mara North conservancy, and can be used on their own, or, together, they are perfect for more than one family travelling together.
Topi House in further south, on its own, on the border of the Masai Mara Reserve, and the Olare Motorogi conservancy. The great migration passes its doors from July to November, making it a great choice at that time of year. The great migration is also accessible from Mara and Acacia House, on a full day game drive, in a southerly direction.
As well as game drives, walking safaris and night drives can be done from Mara and Acacia Houses (as they are in a private conservancy rather than the reserve itself) and Topi House is within reach of the hot-air balloon launch sites.
Prepare to reconnect as a family, spend time discovering the many facets of the Masai Mara and fall asleep in your own cosy home at night.
